What we collect from you

Only what you type into our sign-up forms (your name, email, business name and details about your business and the areas or topics you want covered) and the emails you send us. If you pay, our payment provider, Stripe, handles your card details. We never see or store your card number.

What we use it for

• To run the services you've signed up for and send you your emails and reports.
• To reply to you, and to send a payment link at the end of your free month.
• We don't use your details for anything else, and we don't sell, rent or trade them.

Services that help us run Local Lookout

Your details pass through: Web3Forms (delivers form sign-ups to our inbox), Zoho Mail (our email), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosts this website). Each has its own privacy policy.

Public information in our emails

Building Approval Leads contain information the NSW Government publishes on the NSW Planning Portal, such as the address, type and value of approved work. We pass on only what is already published there, and we never add owners' names or contact details or look them up. Grants Tracker and AI Visibility Check use public information about grants and businesses.

Own a property that's appeared in our leads? Email with the address or the Planning Portal reference number, and we'll leave it out of every future email, no questions asked.

How long we keep it

While you're a subscriber, and for up to 2 years afterwards for our records. Then we delete it. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your details.
